About the Photographer
Hi, I'm Amelie!
I am a senior at Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, Ks. I first started taking photos when I was in seventh grade for my middle school yearbook. I am now the Head Online Photo editor for my school's newspaper, The Shawnee Mission East Harbinger. I have worked my way up from taking photos of my family on a starter camera to being a state and national award winning student photojournalist. I have been very fortunate to be able to photograph a wide variety of events including weddings, parties, sporting events, and the Boulevardia Music Festival. However, my favorite things to shoot include outdoor portraits and my school sporting events.
